Privacy
How the web studio uses your account, payments, and pictures. We keep what we need to run the studio. We do not sell your data.
What this covers
These notes cover the Tune it. Own it. website and the web illustration studio at app.tuneitownit.com.
The free Mac desktop app is a separate open-source project. It uses Codex on your machine and is not billed through this site.
What we collect
When you sign in we keep your email and a session so you stay signed in. Continue with Google and we receive your Google account id, email, and name. Email and password sign-in may also be available.
We store your studio work: characters, styles, the 14 scene slots, prompts, uploads, and generated images. Buying credits leaves a payment record — the pack, the amount, and the Stripe session. We do not store your full card number.
Who else sees it
Google signs you in. Stripe takes payment for credit packs. OpenAI generates images from your prompts and any reference pictures you attach. Those companies process that data under their own terms.
Cookies
A signed-in session uses an HttpOnly cookie named tuneit, shared across our product hosts, for about 30 days. It is not an advertising cookie. We do not run a separate analytics product.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and studio files while the account is open. Payment records stay as long as we need them for accounting and disputes.
Your choices
You can sign out at any time. There is no delete button in the studio yet. Email [email protected] and we will delete your account and studio files, or send you a copy of what we hold. Unused credits go with the account.
